Masya's beloved mother.
Being a Neko/Mermaid, she is able to go back and forth between her Land Form and her Mermaid Form.
She's a very, VEEERY sweet woman. Way too sweet for her own good. She's provided Masya the love and motherly care that a real mother would give.
She loves her daughter very much, she could go berserk if anybody would do her daughter wrong.
She's incredibly protective of her, perhaps this is how Masya got her immense protectiveness that's shown with her dummy vampire hubby.
Katherine is a very lovely lady, but she can literally get
mad.

And i mean SERIOUSLY MAD.
If somebody would dare bully her children, she is going to falcon punch the FUCK out of that good-for-nothing. She miiight get in trouble for it, but in the end, it's pretty much the person's fault for being a dumbfuck and facing the oh-so-very-overkill consequence. Just like any nekos, she is able to sprint very quickly, and even on all four. In her Mermaid Form, Mermaids (in this universe) can only hold their breath for a vastly extended amount of time, ranging from a full day to a full week. Katherine is a fast swimmer, and even wanted to teach Masya to swim once. But Masya always refused cause she's REALLY afraid of drowning. She's a very understanding person. Being a decent person requires knowledge in "not being a dumbfuck who jumps into conclusions before i finish telling the story."
she'd listen to her daughter rambling about her problems for hours and hours. While a normal sane person would consider it annoying, it's just how it is for the female specimen during the process of becoming a pubescent girl.

While skilled and strong is what she is, she's honestly not really the brightest in brains. Having difficulties to really understand language, such as the use of vowels in modern ways people communicate in social media, such as "r u a fuking thot or wot u fukking tit nugget" which is somewhat odd for somebody who's 51 years of age.

Oh, speaking of age, she looks vastly younger than her presumed age. She's also short, being only 5'2" compared to her daughter who's.. well, only 5'6". Not a big difference, but still taller than her mother. Welp, atleast she can transform into a mermaid and her daughter can't.. really do that due to the mermaid genes not being the dominant genes. Regardless, she loves her daughter and vice versa.


Huh. I wonder how she'd feel about meeting Isaac for the first time...
